My name is Carrie Ruffner

Hi, I’m Carrie, the heart behind Ruff Cuts Pet Grooming. I started Ruff Cuts in August 2024 with a passion for dogs, a love for grooming, and a dream of offering a calm, personalized alternative to busy grooming salons.

With years of hands-on experience and continued education in grooming techniques, dog behavior, and pet safety, I take pride in treating every dog as if they were my own. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience for pets—and peace of mind for their owners.

Running Ruff Cuts out of my home in Wisconsin Rapids allows me to provide one- on-one attention in a clean, quiet environment where your dog is never rushed or overwhelmed. I believe in quality over quantity, and I’m proud to have built lasting relationships with over 150 clients (and counting!) in just our first year.

Whether it’s a full makeover, a routine tidy-up, or a first-time puppy visit, I’m here to make your dog feel comfortable, look their best, and leave with a wagging tail.
